‘Tis the season to be merry – and something that has never failed to lift our spirits is a chocolate martini! There are many ways to make a chocolate martini. You can pick your favorite spirit such as light rum, vodka or brandy as a base spirit to mix with a chocolate liqueur. Or if you’re looking for a fruity taste, use citrus-flavored or raspberry-flavored vodka. For a sweeter taste, go for vanilla-flavored vodka or rum.
Garnishing is easy. Pour some chocolate syrup onto a plate and dip the rim of the glass into it. Alternatively, squirt the chocolate syrup in swirls around the inside of the glass. A word of caution: Forget putting a chunk of chocolate at the bottom of the glass. You could choke someone…or yourself.
